A typically thought of Career with the "Doctor" sitting in a chair behind a desk; the patient laying on a couch, talking about his or her personal issues. The career of psychology thrives to find new ways to treat people with mental issues, yet the workers hardly interact with the people themselves.  Psychologists conduct studies about the human behavior, and find new mental ailments.
A psychologist's nature of work varies; chiefly, research to contact with the mentally ill.  The career of a psychologist's work enraptures the mind with human emotion and behavior to analytical studies. The career of a psychologist comes with researching and studying mental processes along with behavioral study (Occupational Outlook Handbook). A psychologist must also analyze data, and interpret it as well with effective treatment research (Bobrow Burns 136). There are numerous types of Psychology; namely, from school counselor to clinical counsel establishes Author Jennifer Bobrow Burns. Mental healers like psychologists do not only research, but perform crisis intervention (135). Assessing and helping patients deal with the strenuous mental disorders haunting them is associated with the career of a psychologist (Occupational Outlook Handbook).  This career's workload is emotionally taxing, but worth the stress of helping those plagued with disorders like schizophrenia, and manic depression.
The conditions which one works as a psychologist are in good aspects; consequently, the conditions are brutally stressful. The hours are not extensive or tiresome, but nerve-racking. Counselor Kristin Bindl articulates that, "The Environment and Patients really decide the hours for school and Clinic work." If a psychologist self employs, they then can set their own hours (Strelecky 164). Healthcare facilities continually have shifts on evenings and weekends while
School and clinic Counselors practice regular hours (Occupational Outlook Handbook). The mood of the office is thoroughly hectic, but morally enlightening. A psychologist may work with other psychologists; similarly, he or she has high standards of their own mind. The good "Doctor" must be mature, sensitive, have strong communication skills, and be emotionally stable whilst dividing time between teaching, research and consultation. The conditions of a psychologists' practice are tense, but the hours are not prolonged as one might assume.
Exotic places in the government and corporations are important and exciting; nevertheless, persons of this employment tend to thrive in many environments. Places of work in the government for a psychologist are environments like the Departments of Education and Veteran Affairs (Strelecky 164).  There are also dwellings in lower law enforcement such as rehabilitation offices and jails, expresses the website Occupational Outlook Handbook. Corporations take charge in helping their workers with their mental issues; in addition to, commercial usages (Strelecky 162).  Advertising agencies need minds of psychologists to know what will entice the "buyers", while the architectural and engineering firms hire to help workers; private research firms develop new methods of treatments. Some psychologists like to specialize in schools or daycare centers. Consultants may hold staff positions in schools as well (Occupational Outlook Handbook). The whereabouts of a Psychologist are colorful and in many places. The nature of this career mainly deals with emotional and behavioral issues, while working in a physical environment of colorfulness.
The education from college preparation in high school to specialization is complex and competitive; specifically, one wanting to become a psychologist. Demanding high school classes
to prepare a Young scholars for college are grueling. Parenting and child development classes are perfect for upcoming psychologists (Bindl). Psychology is the number one class pick for a psychologist- to be advises the Careers and Vocational guidance encyclopedia (Chambers 165). Math classes are excellent to develop an analytical mind, which is needed for a high school student of Psychology (Bindl).  With mathematic classes ties together other well needed classes of calculus, algebra, and geometry (Bobrow Burns 148). There are main introductory classes colleges look for, from English and many types of sciences; however, it is crucial to know a foreign language or languages (Strelecky 162). Aggressively loaded, the classes are determined to make upcoming psychology students ready for college.
The fresh out of high school student has received the seal of approval; afterward, he or she is off the face difficult courses to become a psychologist in college. Before the up and coming psychologist can enter graduate school; moreover, there are certain requirements highly expected of an applying student. Excellent grades, research in the field and work experience are just a few of the qualities expected of a requesting student (Bobrow Burns 137). Each program has different requirements, elucidates the article "Psychologists" for students of psychology since there are so many branches under psychology (Chambers 147). Once one has made it past the admissions office with a stamp of approval, the onset of toilsome classes begins (Bobrow Burns 137). It is essential to major in Psychology, but in this line for work an analytical mind must be progressed with classes like mathematics (Chambers 148). The Graduate Record Exam after four to seven years of college is required to become a practicing psychologist (Bobrow Burns 137). With a doctorate's or master's degree hanging on the wall, a psychology graduate is off to be certified with even more learning and special training of self; subsequently, he or she must be certified before the college graduate can begin to practice (Strelecky 161).  Off to get licensure to practice, the psychologist 'student' is stopped by the requirements of having a doctorate's degree along with experience, one must pass an exam (Strelecky 161). With Education complete, one is off to get the career he or she has worked so hard to be ready for.
The outlook for psychologists of the future can expect a positive and stable future; nonetheless, the future will be thoroughly exciting for a psychologist who has just received their first career. The salary of a psychologist can be low to high income on a yearly pay; however, it all depends on the employer. The Bureau of Labor statistics, clarifies that the lower range of the spectrum employees work for little pay (Occupational Outlook Handbook). Ordinarily, lesser paid psychologists work in clinics, individual public health, and school counseling which they can earn less than $37,000 while the average range is $48,700 to $82,700.  The substantially paid
psychologists can earn a good amount; meanwhile, the inadequately paid earns just a bit more than the lower end of the higher paid psychologist's range. The higher paid psychologists work for the most part, in industrial and organizations, while earning up to $54,100 to $115,700. There are ample difference factors in a caliber of things (Strelecky 164). Education goes the distance with a doctorate degree holder more than likely to earn more, but one has to consider that location for almost everything is one of the top three qualities. Experience is a crucial component employers' look for in an applying psychologist, from internship to past experience in practicing.
Entitled to a psychologist are certain benefits; furthermore, an employed psychologist can look forward to benefits that will sustain the needs of the employed. The vacation and sick time for psychologists can vary from the setting of which one works; therefore, there is not an exact amount of free days for every psychologist. School counselors annually are given 55 days off combined sick and vacation time including, summer, spring, and winter breaks, but in hospitals psychologists receive 10 days to two weeks off. The publication  "Social Work" explains that in other places psychologist can work are environments like private firms and those who practice in their own office; they must provide for themselves insurance and such (164).
The market now and in the future for psychologists is emphatic; additionally, one will expect a wondrous and intriguing future. Author David Strelecky clarifies that, "The U.S. Department of labor projects that employment for psychologists will grow as fast as the average
of all occupations…," (162). There are limitations for certain psychologists; contrastingly, there are edges one can have habitually with certain measures. The Doctorate degree retainers have an edge over bachelor's degree holders because firms want the best of the best and there are limited positions that will accept bachelor degree holders (Occupational Outlook Handbook). Psychologists are to be in demand in almost every branch (Strelecky 165). The growth will increase in schools and hospitals because they continually observe that mental health affects learning, and public health. Geropsychology, a psychology branch for elderly people, is growing out of its way as the amount of mentally ill elderly people rise (Occupational Outlook Handbook). With a knowhow of where to look, one sets off to earn the career they've looked forward to for the past years.
The life of a Psychologist tends to strain his or her own emotional level, but they are there to raise the unstably minded up. The doctor-like career is critical to society's mental stability, and in return society provides a good pay and stable retirement. The mental clinician has had a long and active path through education to make it to the day they can even apply. The "Shrink" although viewed negatively, they are like teachers, helping their patients learn and cope with their dilemmas.

This is my Psychology paper I did a couple months ago. I worked on it for a month. We had a week to get information on a career and I chose Psychologist. I worked hard on it...

My grandma's computer was uncooperative with the works cited, and it is gone from my folder, so all the information is from the respected owners. They are in ()'s.

You have well developed vocab, and youre info is certainly relevant and well researched. It is a bit of a strain to read due to the fact that there is jan overload of facts and statistics everywhere, but it's not necessarily a bad thing, if that was the style of paper you were meant to write. Overall I'd say well done, it's definetly advanced for youre grade level, and the effort you put into it shows. =)
